Frost visits the Festival de Cannes 2016
It was the last day at the 69th Cannes film festival. Much to our amusement the atmosphere was still captivating…nowhere more so than on the red carpet.
Enthusiasm radiated over formalities. With the arrival of French stars such as Kev Adams the streets came alive. In France, Kev is clearly a favorite and his earnest joy for the moment was inspiring.
Speaking with fellow screen writers and producers at the event it became clear that Cannes is a crowning moment for new and seasoned talent to come together and celebrate years of hard work and dreams realized. Not simply out of obligation but out of pure passion for the work.
It is refreshing to be present during such an invigorating event. To discuss the future of film with people from all over the world and of all levels of success is, dare we say, something out of the movies.
“Certain things leave you in your life and certain things stay with you. And that's why we're all interested in movies- those ones that make you feel, you still think about. Because it gave you such an emotional response, it's actually part of your emotional make-up, in a way.”
